Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated mid to senior level Systems Engineer to join a ground-based program.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop requirements and test plans, and you may lead a systems engineering effort on the program. Responsibilities include managing customer requirements, supporting SRR/PDR/CDR/TRR, and coordinating V&V activities with engineers from mechanical, electrical, optical, and software disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
• 8+ years in systems engineering.
• Experience with system requirements development/management and V&V.
• Innoslate or Cameo familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer requirements in a requirements database and develop high-level MBSE models.
• Allocate requirements and derive lower-level requirements with engineering leads.
• Support program reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) in a systems engineering capacity.
• Develop plans for Verification and Validation (V&V) with leads.
• Support execution of system tests to close out V&V.
• Other duties as assigned.
