Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, invites students and early professionals to explore aerospace collaboration in Cedar Rapids. This internship/co-op role focuses on KC-135 systems engineering, requirements capture, and testing within a lab environment, offering hands-on learning and cross-functional teamwork.

Candidates must be pursuing a STEM degree and be onsite in Cedar Rapids for test events; prior KC-135 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM).
• Prior KC-135 Platform Systems Experience would be beneficial.
• Onsite in Cedar Rapids for test events and test environment updates.

Responsibilities

• Understand KC-135 systems engineering processes.
• Capture, define, allocate, verify and validate system requirements.
• Perform and support system tests in a lab environment in both informal and formal test events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new KC-135 features.
