Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids is seeking an engineering intern/co-op to support KC-135 systems engineering activities onsite. You will learn processes, capture and verify requirements, and assist in lab tests and cross-functional collaboration to implement new KC-135 features.

The role emphasizes hands-on tests, on-site attendance, and collaboration with experienced teams, offering exposure to aerospace engineering environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in an applicable discipline and actively enrolled through completion of the internship / co-op session.
• Ability to be onsite in Cedar Rapids for test events and test environment updates.

Responsibilities

• Understand KC-135 systems engineering processes
• Capture, define, allocate, verify and validate system requirements
• Perform and support system tests in a lab environment in both informal and formal test events
• Assist in the collaboration of cross-functional teams to design and implement new KC-135 features
