Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Systems Engineer III. The role focuses on researching, planning, designing, and developing aerospace and electronics products, including new designs, modernization, and upgrades.

You will work with cross-functional teams to meet performance, cost, and customer requirements, and use CAE tools to deliver reliable solutions. A minimum of 5 years' experience and an engineering degree are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• BA or BS in an engineering discipline; MS/PhD preferred.
• Familiarity with ARP4754 and DO-178/DO-254/DO-160.
• Knowledge of transformers, power conditioning, DC-DC converters, magnetics, and related subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional groups to meet performance and cost targets.
• Support Kaizen and 5S for process improvements.
• Define, understand and comply with guidelines to ensure safe operations.
• Plan, estimate, and manage work to meet schedules and budgets.
• Lead system development activities and perform safety analyses such as ARP4761.
