Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking a Systems Engineer III to design, analyze, and develop aerospace products with minimal supervision. You’ll collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, and program management to meet cost, schedule, and reliability targets, using MBSE, model-based workflows, and established industry standards.

The role requires a BA/BS in engineering, 5 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with ARP4754, DO-178/DO-254/DO-160, and Simulink.

Qualifications

• BA or BS Degree in an engineering discipline, with Mechanical preferred.
• Experience with system development following ARP4754 and DO-178/DO-254/DO-160.
• Knowledge of requirements management and verification.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to meet product performance and cost targets.
• Create and maintain models; perform what-if analyses and use cases using simulation.
• Prepare technical reports, procedures, and documentation as required.
