Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years’ experience as Manufacturing Engineer
- Knowledge of modern production principles and methods in high- tech manufacturing
- Strong communication across all levels of the organization
- Education/Certification: BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- ITAR/Controlled Data considerations may apply
Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and technicians
- Lead interdisciplinary project teams
- Analyze methods, processes, layouts, and tooling to support production
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement improvements
- Review design changes for feasibility and impact on cost
- Develop manufacturing instructions and track process metrics
- Coordinate with vendors and customers and justify capital projects
