Qualifications

  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience with systems engineering principles and processes related to aerospace system development.
  • Demonstrated experience with fault-tolerance strategies and architectures for safety- and mission-critical systems.
  • Experience with autonomous system design, analysis, and testing.
  • Familiarity with embedded software system design or operation.
  • First-principles knowledge of major spacecraft subsystems.
  • Familiarity with FMECA, FTA, and FHA safety and mission assurance analyses.
  • Ability to form relationships with experts across engineering fields and provide constructive feedback on FMSA, safety, and reliability concerns.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance several tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to earn trust and maintain positive, professional relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel 10–20%
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
