Job summary

The position requires a BA/BS in engineering (Mechanical preferred) and 5+ years of relevant experience, with knowledge of DO-178/DO-254/DO-160 and related processes. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant work experience
• BA or BS in an engineering discipline, mechanical preferred
• Experience with ARP4754 and DO-178/DO-254/DO-160

Responsibilities

• Model Based Systems Engineering – create/maintain models and run what-if/use-case simulations.
• Define/understand/comply with guidelines to ensure a safe operating environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to meet performance and cost targets.
• Plan, estimate, prioritize, and manage work to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Produce design and development documentation to satisfy customer and program requirements.
• Support IPT activities and collaborate across disciplines.
• Contribute to architecture and requirements flow-down to engineering groups.
