Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics seeks a senior Electrical Engineer III/IV in Burbank to drive research, design, and development of aerospace and electronics products. You will lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical leadership within an IPT environment.

This role emphasizes independent work, rigorous design for performance, cost targets, and adherence to DO-254/DO-160 standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• U.S. person may be required for ITAR access due to government contracting.
• BA or BS in an engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with IPT to achieve product performance and cost targets.
• Incorporate quality and manufacturability into the design.
• Define and comply with company and regulatory guidelines for safe operation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Plan, estimate, prioritize, and manage work to meet schedules and budgets.
• Lead design verification and testing activities and root-cause analyses.
