Job summary

The Kearfott Corporation in Pine Brook, NJ is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support definition, development, integration, verification, validation, and technical support of inertial measurement and navigation products for aerospace and defense applications.

Responsibilities include translating customer needs into system requirements, architectures, interfaces, models, analyses, verification activities, and technical solutions across the product lifecycle, working with senior engineers and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (EE/ME/SE/CE/AE).
Two or more years of engineering experience in systems engineering or related fields.
Experience with model-based systems engineering or SysML is preferred.
Familiarity with IBM DOORS, Cameo or MagicDraw is desirable.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer needs and translate them into system requirements and architectures.
Define interfaces among navigation, hardware, software, and external systems.
Support MBSE, verification strategies, and traceability between requirements and tests.
Participate in SRR/ PDR/ CDR reviews and coordinate across teams.
Travel ~15% for reviews, integration, and supplier meetings.
