Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Systems Engineer II to contribute to the design, integration, verification, and delivery of aerospace systems. The role is based in Phoenix on a hybrid schedule with no relocation offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems engineering within aerospace or related industries.
• Knowledge of systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting in complex aerospace systems.
• Proficiency with aerospace engineering tools and technologies, including system modeling and simulation software.
• Experience with compliance standards and regulatory requirements relevant to aerospace systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently under guidance, with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of complex aerospace systems, ensuring alignment with standards.
• Decompose, trace, and manage system and subsystem requirements with bidirectional traceability.
• Contribute to system architecture, interface control documentation, and design analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and drive project success.
• Identify and mitigate risks to meet performance and compliance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and stay current with industry trends.
