Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Systems Engineer II to contribute to design, development, testing and certification of flight control systems for BRGA EPIC/APEX programs. Hybrid work schedule in Phoenix, reporting to Sr Engineering Program Manager.
You will collaborate across teams, ensure requirements traceability, perform test planning and verification, and support certification efforts to meet safety and industry standards.
Honeywell Flight Systems team develops state-of-the-art flight controls for multiple aircraft types, including Air Transport, and Regional (ATR), Business, Regional and General Aviation (BRGA), Electric Vertical Take Off & Land (eVTOL), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), and other aircraft types.
This position will be located in Phoenix, AZ (Deer Valley) within the Flight Systems (FS) department working primarily on the BRGA EPIC/APEX Flight Controls programs. You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Program Manager, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
As a Systems Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in the design , development, testing and certification of flight control systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the development of flight control systems, ensuring their safety, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
