Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Engineering Physics, Aerospace Engineering or related engineering fields.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical, chemical, or related engineering fields, with emphasis on thermal management system modeling and analysis.
• Advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related technical field with emphasis on thermal management system modeling and analysis, in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine ECS performance models and simulations for air and vapor cycle systems, including validation and verification of system level steady state requirements.
• Conduct thermodynamic, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics analyses to optimize system performance.
• Definition of system and equipment level key performance and generation/ validation of associated requirements.
• Creation and maintenance of system level steady state models including run time performance optimization, model validation against component and system test data, and generation of model documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate hardware and software components effectively
• Perform system validation, verification, and testing to ensure compliance with specifications
