Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Systems Engineer Co-Op focused on mission sensors, weapons, and IFF avionics. You will develop requirements, tests, verification, and support software and system integration within an Agile team to deliver robust solutions.

You will design software requirements using DOORs, create Python test scripts, verify builds in lab environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with scripting using Python (or similar).
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in STEM and enrolled through internship/co-op.

Responsibilities

• Help design and define software requirements using DOORs.
• Develop automated and semi-automated test scripts using Python.
• Verify software builds in integrated lab environments and support verification events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine system requirements and designs.
• Present progress to Agile team members and leadership.
• Contribute to test development processes while maintaining standards.
