Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern with interest in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to support next-generation propulsion programs. Develop system models and contribute to digital transformation initiatives within Pratt & Whitney EDSI, participating in reviews and adhering to standard work.

You will collaborate with engineering leads and cross-disciplinary teams, and gain exposure to cutting-edge digital engineering capabilities for military and commercial propulsion projects.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Develop Systems Engineering Models in order to perform systems engineering tasks including deriving and analyzing requirements, defining system architectures, defining interfaces, verification planning, and trade studies
• Interface with engineering leads, team members, and other discipline teams and provide task progress updates
• Participate in customer and/or internal technical reviews throughout the product lifecycle
• Ensure consistent application of engineering best practices and comply with EDSI standard work
