Job summary

Pratt and Whitney Engine Design and Systems Integration (EDSI) seeks a Principal Systems Engineer with MBSE experience to support next generation propulsion programs. Develop system models for military engines and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities include leading model development, requirements analysis, and architecture definition within a collaborative, matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher with relevant experience.
• Experience in systems engineering roles or familiarity with systems engineering methods.
• Experience using a SysML tool such as IBM Rhapsody, Cameo/Magic Draw, or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Systems Engineering Models as a subject matter expert.
• Perform requirements analysis and define architectures and interfaces.
• Coordinate with leadership and teams in a matrixed organization.
• Participate in gate reviews throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with MBSE process and best practices.
