Job summary

Pratt and Whitney Engine Design and Systems Integration (EDSI) seeks a Senior Principal Systems Engineer with MBSE experience to support next generation propulsion programs. You will lead development, integration, and maturation of system models for one or more military engine programs, while mentoring teams and driving MBSE process improvements in systems engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 7+ years
Experience leading small cross functional engineering teams
Experience in systems engineering roles or familiarity with systems engineering methods
Experience using a SysML tool such as IBM Rhapsody, Cameo/Magic Draw, or equivalent
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

Responsibilities

Lead the development of Systems Engineering Models and perform requirements analysis, architectures, interfaces, verification planning, and trade studies
Coordinate with leadership and team members in a highly matrixed organization
Participate in customer/internal gate reviews throughout the product lifecycle
Coordinate extended team model development and enforce engineering best practices and compliance
