Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Designer II to develop designs and working drawings for mechanical and electronic components across diverse system types. You will create complex PCB layouts, schematics, and 3‑D models, while maintaining documentation and conformance to standards.

You will search for parts, support reverse engineering, and prepare engineering deliverables including BOMs and installation records. Collaboration with engineers and technicians is essential as travel to remote sites may be

Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD to create and revise drawings.
• Ability to update floor plans, layouts, rack elevations.
• Revise electrical/mechanical/infra diagrams from markups.
• Maintain as-built drawings after installations/modifications.
• Incorporate engineering/configuration changes into drawings.
• Experience with BOMs and installation records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare semi-complex electronic/mechanical designs and drawings.
• Conduct part searches and prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Provide reverse engineering of aerospace parts and RF sub-assemblies.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and 3-D models.
• Prepare documentation for completeness and standards conformity.
• Research technical publications for processes and materials.
• Use CAD/EDA tools for design tasks.
• Develop work packages and department standards.
• May mentor lower-level staff.
• Perform other duties as required.
