JT4, LLC is hiring a Designer II to prepare mechanical and electronic designs and drawings for aerospace components. You will create PCB layouts, schematics, and packaging while performing basic calculations and 3-D modeling, and you will update and maintain design documentation and BOMs.
The role requires familiarity with CAD standards, ability to work with engineers and technicians, and the capability to obtain/maintain security clearance as a U.S. citizen.
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
Working under general supervision, a Designer II prepares designs and working drawings for mechanical and electronic system components, which impact on the adequacy of designs, safety, economy, efficiency, function and sizes of components to be installed in a wide range of system types. Employee works on portions of larger designs as assigned by higher-level designers.
Employee will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties:
A bachelor’s degree is preferred. A two-year technical degree in design, drafting, or an engineering field and six (6) years of design experience are required for this position. Design experience can be a combination of direct design experience, advance design drafting, or schooling.

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 annually.

Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds), constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required.
Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
