Job summary

Hytek Finishes in Kent, WA is seeking an Abrasive Blast Operator for the 1st shift. You will blast parts using media, read technique cards, follow drawings and POs, and prepare surfaces for finish coatings.

The role is full-time, non-exempt, onsite with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and life/disability protections. Candidates with 1–2 years in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced inspectors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Follow instructions from technique cards, POs, drawings; apply maskants as required.
• Prepare parts prior to operations; use proper tooling and fixtures as applicable.
• Sign off on work and perform Operator Self Verification inspections.
• Review paperwork and ensure prior operations are complete; notify supervisor/QA if errors.
• Understand pre/post cleaning surface finish requirements and QA procedures.
• Be familiar with engineering drawing notations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
