Job summary

Hytek Finishes Co. in Kent, WA is seeking an Abrasive Blast Operator for the 1st shift. This on-site, full-time role requires operating blasting equipment, following process instructions, and maintaining safety and quality checks.

The position requires good attendance, basic English communication, and the ability to work with PPE in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. FAA/DOT testing may apply; benefits are provided as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is required.
• Ability to Read/Write English for communication and documentation.
• Must wear appropriate PPE and follow safety protocols.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; export license may be required for some areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate abrasive blasting equipment to prepare parts for surface finishes.
• Follow instructions from technicians and supervisors; apply masks as required.
• Prepare parts, set up tooling and fixtures as applicable.
• Maintain quality checks and sign off on completed work.
• Support safety and quality Assurance procedures and communicate issues.
