Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a designer/developer focused on data structures to assure accurate design and support of production aircraft and structural design aspects. The role involves creating layouts and revising drawings with CATIA V5 and potentially 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA V6, supporting structure designs and installations of aircraft fluids, harnesses, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience creating layouts and revising drawings using CATIA V5.
• Familiarity with aircraft fluid systems installations, harness installations and equipment installations.
• Experience validating BoM tools for data management.
• Prior work on structures design; F-35, C-130 or similar legacy platform experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops data structures to support production aircraft and structural design aspects.
• Supports validation that BoM tools enable data management for layouts and drawings.
• Establishes structural specifications and coordinates with the stress engineering team; may conduct performance tests.
