Harvard Group International seeks a Supplier Quality Manager to establish and lead the quality function for a growing aeroderivative gas turbine business. You will build the QMS, define procedures, qualify suppliers, and drive corrective actions while collaborating with Engineering, Operations and Procurement.

The role requires extensive experience with ISO 9001/AS9100, supplier audits, and shop-floor leadership to ensure production readiness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive quality and manufacturing experience in supplier quality.
• ISO 9001 and AS9100 expertise in quality systems and audits.
• Experience building or significantly improving a QMS with procedures and controls.
• Hands-on supplier qualification, part inspection, and corrective-action experience.
• Lean Six Sigma experience; ideally with Tier 1 suppliers or precision machining.
• Aerospace, gas turbine or power-generation background preferred; automotive backgrounds considered.

Responsabilités

• Establish and implement the QMS, procedures, inspection requirements and approval workflows aligned with ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Qualify suppliers and verify conformance through audits and on-site assessments.
• Lead nonconformance containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions and validation of effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Procurement to support product development and production readiness.
• Provide quality input to supplier scorecards and drive improvements in first-pass yield and escapes.
• Identify resource needs and grow the quality team as the organization scales.
