Job summary

True Anomaly, a space-focused aerospace company, seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure flight-quality hardware from suppliers. You will own quality systems, run SCAR/RCCA processes, and drive data-driven decisions across engineering and supplier networks.

You will travel to supplier sites as needed, review PPAP/FAIR, and support audits while maintaining stringent quality, cost, and schedule standards in a regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in supplier quality or quality engineering with RCCA/SCAR closure.
• Fluency with statistics tools and data‑driven decision making.
• Experience with root cause methodologies and NCR disposition.

Responsibilities

• Own SCAR process end to end and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Lead RCCA on escapes and push systemic fixes with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier quality data and track metrics to detect issues.
• Apply SPC and Gage R&R to assess supplier processes.
• Create and disposition NCRs; coordinate rework and use‑as‑is decisions.
• Audit supplier quality systems and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Review inspection data and feed findings back into SCAR/RCCA.
• Oversee PPAP/FAIR review for new or changed parts.
• Collaborate with Supplier Development Engineering on chronic issues.
• Travel to supplier sites for audits and source inspection as needed.
