Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Supplier Development Engineer to build and sustain a world-class supplier network delivering flight-quality hardware to orbit. You will bridge internal engineering and supplier teams, driving lean processes and scalable quality programs.

You will lead audits, qualification, and continuous improvement, ensuring readiness for milestones while traveling extensively to supplier sites. Equity benefits and a strong growth path accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 4–7 years in supplier development or related aerospace/defense roles.
• Hands-on lean implementation at supplier/manufacturing sites with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier development lifecycle across Propulsion, Structures, Power Systems, Avionics, PCBA and Harnessing.
• Conduct audits, capability/risk assessments, and first article inspections (FAI).
• Develop supplier quality programs including scorecards and flow-down requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management to align supplier readiness with milestones.
• Travel to supplier sites 30–50% as needed.
