Job summary

True Anomaly, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to inspect in-process or finished spacecraft components and ensure quality per internal specifications. You will advise missions and production on results and help maintain safety, environmental, and quality objectives across the organization.

The role involves reading blueprints, performing risk reviews, and leading defect analyses. You will train team members on new processes and apply Lean QA principles in our growing aerospace

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide clear and concise communication (verbal and written) to all levels of personnel.
• Experience reading blueprints and specifications; monitor operations to ensure production standards.
• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in an aerospace environment.
• Experience maintaining production or quality control equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process or finished products for quality per internal specs.
• Advise production and missions on inspection results.
• Lead audits to AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.
• Identify supplier issues and address design/manufacturing improvements.
• Routinely use gauges such as calipers and micrometers.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing principles in QA methodologies.
• Collaborate across functions to resolve quality issues.
