Job summary

RH Aero Systems in Mason, Ohio is seeking a Supplier Development Manager to lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and development across tooling, machining, fabrication, and assembly for aerospace programs. You’ll collaborate with Strategic Sourcing and regional teams to drive supplier performance and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on capability building, process audits, and cost-reduction initiatives, with on-site collaboration and up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain field.
• 5–7 years in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or supplier development in aerospace or precision engineering.
• Experience conducting supplier audits and development programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and onboarding process improvements.
• Develop supplier capability and capacity strategies with regional/global teams.
• Monitor KPIs across quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Conduct process audits and root-cause analyses with suppliers.
• Support make-versus-buy decisions and contract negotiations.
• Travel up to 40% to supplier locations and ensure alignment with OEM standards.
