Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate, military training, or associate degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience in manufacturing assembly, production testing, electronics testing, quality inspection, aviation maintenance, or related environment preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Basic electrical principles and safe use of common electronic test equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use precision hand tools correctly.
• Ability to document results clearly and maintain attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and navigating electronic work instructions or manufacturing systems.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform functional, electrical, mechanical, and continuity tests on subassemblies using approved procedures and test equipment.
• Inspect assemblies for workmanship, conformance to drawings, torque, labeling, and configuration.
• Record test results in travelers and production systems with full traceability.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material; communicate failures and concerns.
• Troubleshoot faults in wiring, connectors, sensors, motors, or circuit assemblies.
• Support rework, repair, and retest activities per instructions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
• Ensure test equipment is within calibration period before use.
• Follow safety, ESD, and clean-work-area standards.
• Participate in continuous-improvement activities related to safety, quality, and cycle time.
