Job summary

Skyeton Inc in Fayetteville, NC is seeking an Aircraft Checkout Technician to verify final configuration, perform ground tests, document discrepancies, and ensure release-readiness before flight testing or delivery.

You will work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Flight Operations and Program teams to confirm correct assemblies, traceability, and safety. A strong eye for detail and hands-on use of test equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with technical training preferred.
• Ability to read and apply engineering drawings and procedures.
• Experience using test equipment safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft checkout activities using approved drawings and test procedures.
• Verify configuration, serial numbers, software versions, and documentation.
• Conduct detailed inspections for workmanship, cleanliness, routing, and installation.
• Execute functional checks of electrical, avionics, propulsion, and flight-control systems.
• Record test results, discrepancies, and corrective actions accurately.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with multiple engineering and operations teams.
