Job summary

Skyeton, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for our Fayetteville, North Carolina facility.

This hands-on role covers receiving, in-process, and final inspections of materials and unmanned aircraft system components to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and the Skyeton QMS. You will work on a manufacturing floor supporting composite fabrication, machining, and assembly, using calibrated tools and maintaining traceable records.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and relevant experience in quality inspection or manufacturing.
• Preferred: associate degree or technical certificate in a related quality/manufacturing field.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T is required.
• Proficient with basic measurement tools and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, final, and source inspections per plans and drawings.
• Inspect a range of products for dimensional accuracy and workmanship.
• Use calibrated inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters.
• Read drawings, GD&T, schematics, and materials documentation.
• Document results clearly in paper and electronic systems and maintain traceability.
• Identify nonconforming material and support disposition and corrective actions.
• Support audits, FAI activities, and safety/quality procedures.
