Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Structures Technician to fabricate, assemble, and align large aerospace components in a high-precision environment. You will work from engineering drawings to ensure tight tolerances across aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and composites, with a focus on quality, reliability, and mission readiness.

Shifts vary by schedule, with relocation available to Space Coast, FL. This role requires handling heavy materials, 50 lb lifts, and working in a fast-paced, safety-conscious

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs accurately.
• Familiarity with precision calibration and measurement tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and align structural aerospace components per instructions and specs.
• Drill precision holes with appropriate tooling and maintain tight tolerances.
• Prepare and treat surfaces for assembly, including cleaning and marking.
• Fixture components using jigs and specialized tooling for accurate alignment.
• Operate measurement devices to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Inspect assemblies, identify discrepancies, and perform repairs or modifications as needed.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain 5S cleanliness in the work area.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and resolve challenges.
• Manage handling and integration of flight and non-flight hardware across the production cycle.
• Document work performed and communicate with engineering and quality teams.
