Blue Origin LLC in the Seattle area seeks a Structures Design Engineer II to design, analyze, and test primary and secondary structures for lunar transportation hardware. You will create 3D models, detail drawings, and interface control documents, while collaborating with teams including NASA and suppliers.

The role requires a BS in engineering and 3+ years in aerospace or related structures, with hands-on CAD and FEA experience.

Competenze

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
• Experience on recently developed aircraft or launch vehicles in one or more areas: structural design of metallic components and assemblies; vehicle load path distribution; material selection and manufacturing techniques.

Mansioni

• Design, analysis, development, and testing of primary and secondary structures, including composites and metallic parts.
• Create 3D models, detail part drawings, assemblies, and interface control documents.
• Provide manufacturing and production support for the hardware and integration guidance.
• Plan, coordinate, conduct tests, and review test data for flight hardware.
