Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Stress Analyst to perform structural analysis of aircraft modifications and support design documentation to ensure airworthiness. The role involves calculating stresses, evaluating loads, and predicting potential failures in accordance with applicable theories.

Travel to Waco, TX may be required for liaison work. Requires a strong aerospace/ Mechanical background and FAA/Military standards experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or related engineering field with aircraft stress analysis experience.
• Familiarity with FAA Part 23/25 airworthiness design, certification processes, and requirements.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel; ability to generate free body diagrams and calculate internal loads.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis of aircraft modifications and support design documentation.
• Determine stress levels in primary/secondary structures under loads and compare with material properties to predict failure.
• Travel to Waco, TX for liaison activities if required.
