Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering with emphasis on structural design and mechanics of materials is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.
  • Willingness to work in the US and participate in a rotational development program.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret damage reports of aircraft structures and verify repair solutions.
  • Document analyses in support of trade studies and certification projects.
  • Learn Airbus methods of sizing structure and certification documentation requirements.
  • Learn structural analysis concepts and their application to sizing.
  • Overseas placements determined by project or employee development needs; US rotations focus on Airbus Americas locations.
  • Development journey includes at least one rotational placement; aim to become Stress Engineer I after program.
