Qualifications

• A degree level or equivalent within Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English).
• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
• The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
• Ability to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Guide your growth into the role of Certification Engineer I through the development journey.
• Support the creation and review of certification documentation related to Type Certification (TC), changes to TC and Continued Airworthiness of the fleet.
• Support the development and management of Certification Plans.
• Identifying applicable and affected Aircraft Regulations impacted by changes and repairs.
• Typical tools used are: MS Word and Excel, Google Suite and Airbus proprietary tools.
• In the first months you will learn Airbus Process, Methods and Tools related to Airworthiness Certification of Airbus aircraft from delivery to in-service repairs and modifications.
• You will work closely with design office specialists, repair specialists and Certification team members to gather data needed for Certification.
• Overseas placements are determined on project or employee development needs; US rotations center on Airbus Americas Engineering locations.
• Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.
• At the end of the two year development programme, you will have developed into Certification Engineer II.
