Job summary

StandardAero, headquartered in the United States, seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management to lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contracts. The role partners with procurement, quality, engineering, and business leaders to build a resilient supplier network.

You will drive cost reduction, risk management, and continuous improvement across supplier spend categories, leveraging data-driven analysis and Lean principles to optimize performance and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 10+ years in supplier/vendor management, supply chain, or procurement in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
• Experience negotiating and managing supplier contracts and performance.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP) and sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier selection (RFQ/RFP), negotiations, and contract management to optimize total cost of ownership and mitigate risk.
• Develop sourcing strategies using spend analytics, market intelligence, and business requirements to strengthen supplier capacity.
• Manage supplier performance via scorecards, QBRs, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify cost reduction, process efficiency, sustainability, and productivity opportunities across spend categories.
• Ensure compliance and risk mitigation with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain.
