Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an instructor to deliver engaging, hands-on 3D printing and STEAM activities after school. The role includes teaching in-person classes, following provided lesson plans, and reporting to a Program Success Manager.

Training and curriculum will be supplied, with a schedule that must be followed. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience with children and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• AA Degree (or higher).
• 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred).
• Experience working with children.
• Educational (development or training) experience.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, in-person STEM/Digital Tech/Fitness instruction using provided lesson plans and materials.
• Prepare for instruction and teach students in PreK-12 as assigned, reporting to Program Success Manager.
• Follow provided schedule, arrive on time, and maintain site compliance.
• Deliver instruction from Nexplore’s programs, adapting as needed to student needs.
• Engage families and participate in events to showcase learning.
