Job summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Spares Engineer/Engineering Analyst to join our Spares Provisioning team onsite at our Chula Vista, CA facility. You will determine, analyze, and optimize spare parts to support lifecycle of complex systems, working with engineering, supply chain, reliability and sustainment teams.
You will develop RSPLs, interpret drawings and maintenance plans to determine spares and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- U.S. Person requirement for access to ITAR or EAR information/hardware and related restrictions.
- Project management or project planning experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and maintain RSPLs and provisioning data for new and existing products.
- Interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and maintenance plans to determine spares requirements.
- Identify critical components and create provisioning documentation (IPCs, IPLs, S-files, T-files, etc.).
- Provide technical support to customers, internal teams, and aftermarket services.
- Support proposal development with spares estimates, cost modeling, and logistics input.
- Travel up to 10%.
