Eaton's IS AER FED division in Bethel, CT is seeking an Aerospace Solderer for 1st shift. You will solder under a microscope, inspect parts, read blueprints and procedures, and maintain quality records.

The role runs from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, within ITAR controls and a no-relocation policy. Applicants should have at least 2 years of soldering experience, excellent dexterity, and the ability to work in a team while following written instructions.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Solderer (White Room) is responsible for soldering and reworking very small and intricate products. The ideal candidate will have exceptional hand dexterity along with a working knowledge in reading, interpreting, and utilizing technical procedures and blueprints. The individual must be comfortable working in a team environment. This position is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere.In this role, you will:• Solder electro-mechanical components under a microscope and/or a magnifying glass.• Assemble, setup and maintain tooling.• Recommend design and process improvements to enhance manufacturability.• Perform visual inspection of parts.• Maintain quality records.• Interpret customer and supplier requirements.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of soldering experience.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
