Job summary

RTX in Fullerton, CA is seeking a software engineering intern for 2027. You will work in a team to design, code, test, document, and deliver new or modified software functionality during the internship/co-op.

You will collaborate with developers, testers, and systems engineers to ensure proper integration and compliance with industry standards. You will gain hands-on experience in software integration, testing, and DO-178B processes, building essential documentation and teamwork skills for

Qualifications

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co‑op session.

Responsibilities

Design, code, test, document, and deliver new/modified software functionality in a team environment.
Coordinate with developers, testers, release engineers, and engineers from other disciplines to ensure successful integration with other software components.
