Job summary

RTX is seeking an Engineering Intern for Pratt & Whitney CDS to collaborate on developing and certifying engine control and diagnostic software. You will work within the Engine System Software group, focusing on requirements, design, verification, and iterative testing in an Agile environment.

The program targets students pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in software-related STEM fields, offering exposure to multidisciplinary engineering and mission-critical embedded systems.

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the internship period.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software requirements and designs within the Agile Framework.
  • Decompose system-level requirements into software requirements and designs.
  • Document traceability for derived requirements and designs.
  • Conduct iterative prototype testing and reviews of requirements and designs.
  • Participate in software planning, estimating, and tracking.
  • Produce software requirement and design specifications.
  • Develop and execute electronic bench test scripts and evaluate test results.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and software planning per Agile framework.
