Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids, IA, offers a full-time co-op on the Mission Engineering / Operational Analysis (ME/OA) team. You will work onsite May/June through December, collaborating with peers to develop high-fidelity modeling and simulation capabilities for military architectures, supporting real-world operational needs.

As an intern, you’ll create code artifacts, contribute to documentation, and showcase progress. Preference for students with a software/CS focus and hands-on project experience.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science and enrolled through the internship/co-op period.
Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship/co-op.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

Engage as part of the team in the development of modeling and simulation capabilities for our ME/OA projects.
Create engineering code artifacts and documentation for the project.
Help demonstrate progress on the work at showcase opportunities.
Help grow the team and create the biggest impact for our customers by bringing own unique perspective and skills to the development.
