Job summary

Qualifications

• 120 months of experience in C programming and aerospace software development.
• Experience with safety-critical software and software life cycle processes.
• Leadership roles in software development or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a world-class team with expertise in DO178C-compliant software.
• Coordinate flight software development, verification, and certification for the aerospace powertrain.
• Define and document streamlined software development and verification processes for certifying safety-critical software.
• Collaborate with certification and safety teams to develop the PSAC plan.
• Guide architecture and design of in-house software to enable testing and analysis.
• Take software through SOI audits 1–4 and meet DO178C objectives.
• Oversee tool qualification to DO330, establish KPI, and improve processes for safety and efficiency.
• Foster team collaboration and personal development.
