Job summary

Skyeton Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and support software for unmanned aircraft systems.

You will build embedded, desktop, and cloud-based applications to enable operation, control, and mission planning, collaborating with avionics, sensors, and systems teams throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a strong background in C++, C, Python, or Java, with OO design, debugging, and a passion for aerospace technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience (internship/project experience considered).
• Proficiency in C++, C, Python, and/or Java; strong OO design and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain UAV software and ground applications.
• Develop embedded, desktop, and cloud-based software for operation and mission planning.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines throughout the product lifecycle.
• Create software interfaces for avionics, sensors, and payloads.
• Engage in reviews, validation, and documentation; ensure cybersecurity and quality.
