Job summary

Skyeton, Inc is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to connect payloads and mission systems to the Raybird air vehicle and ground control station. You will implement telemetry, control software, and data pathways across hardware and software layers.

You will develop operator tools for real-time video, mapping, telemetry, and mission management, while bringing up new equipment on the bench and validating data paths end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software development on embedded, robotics, UAS, or real-time systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong C/C++ and Python with embedded Linux experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate software that ties new payloads and mission systems into the Raybird air vehicle and ground control station.
• Write payload-control, telemetry, and mission-data software interfacing with autopilots, sensors, and radios.
• Develop operator-facing tools for real-time video, mapping, telemetry, and mission management across front-end and back-end.
