Job summary

RTX is offering an opportunity in Cedar Rapids, IA for students pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Systems or Aerospace Engineering, or STEM fields. The role involves learning requirements capture, peer reviews, and decomposing requirements for cockpit avionics in SOA programs.

You will work within Collins Aerospace context, supporting test procedures and on-site testing in an Agile team, with schedule flexibility during formal phases.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Systems or Aerospace Engineering, or Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Learn requirements capture and peer review for A/MH-6R cockpit avionics for the SOA programs.
• Participate in decomposing and allocating requirements to appropriate domains within Collins Aerospace.
• Support the creation of test procedures to verify requirements.
• Participate in on-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and Ad-Hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases).
• Collaborate within an Agile-based development team of professional engineers.
