Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Intergalactic Site Quality Leader to head the site quality organization and drive SQDC performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will partner with operations, engineering, supply chain and leadership to maintain and improve the site’s quality management system and customer satisfaction.

You will lead Quality Engineers, own site-level quality strategy and KPIs, and drive CAPA, containment, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field with 5+ years in quality or engineering leadership.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes in matrix environments.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of quality systems, CAPA, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of quality engineers with coaching and performance management.
• Own site-level quality strategy, KPIs, and operating rhythms aligned to requirements.
• Drive compliance with quality systems, regulatory standards, and customer specs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, and engineering to reduce variation.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Manage nonconforming material, containment actions, and escalation processes.
• Support customer/regulatory audits and site responses to findings.
• Monitor scrap, rework, escapes, first-pass yield, and cost of poor quality.
