Job summary

Tempest Aero Group in Burlington, NC seeks a Site Leader to guide manufacturing operations, safety, and performance at the facility. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will direct production, quality, engineering, planning, and materials, ensuring compliance and delivery of customer commitments.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a track record of continuous improvement in regulated manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field.
5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
Experience leading supervisors and cross-functional teams.
Aerospace, aviation, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Lead on-site across production, quality, planning, materials, engineering, maintenance, and facility operations.
Drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and employee engagement metrics.
Partner with the VP of Operations on strategic planning and capital investments.
Develop site teams and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Lead site supervisors and cross-functional leaders to meet objectives.
