Job summary

Skills Inc. in Auburn, WA is hiring a Shot Peen Operator for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm). You will set up and operate shot peening equipment to meet customer specifications, following technique sheets and saturation curves. The role requires a high school diploma and respect for safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Requires initial certification and annual recertification.
• Dedicated to safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Shot Peen machinery and related equipment.
• Set up and verify parts using Technique Sheets and Saturation Curves.
• Create Technique Sheets for new part numbers and update existing ones.
• Inspect parts after peening for coverage and quality; check for burrs or defects.
• Participate in internal and NADCAP audits.
