Qualifications

This position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
Proficiency in basic computer use and data entry is required.
Familiarity with shipping software (FedEx, UPS) is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders and shipping documents.
Good communication and teamwork abilities are important.

Responsibilities

Package and label boxes and crates for shipment following company and carrier standards.
Verify part numbers, quantities, and condition of received goods against POs and docs.
Enter receipt details into the ERP system and route materials to departments.
Assist with resolving discrepancies in shipments, inventory, or documentation.
Prepare and verify shipping paperwork including packing slips and bills of lading.
Operate forklift to move, load, and unload materials (certification on hire).
Maintain a clean and safe work area and perform general warehouse tasks.
